TRIP is now accepting nominations for the 2008 Troy Treasure Award! To nominate a business, group or individual for the award please view the criteria and nomination form below.  Nominations will be accepted no later than July 18, 2008.

TRIP has partnered with The Record to run bi-monthly “Troy's Treasures” Sunday columns promoting neighborhoods and their assets in the City of Troy. Neighborhood groups or residents are welcome to provide articles to TRIP. Contact Hilary at 272-8289 x214

Troy Treasure Awardees

Started in 2005, TRIP awards an individual, group, or business who is passionately committed to improving Troy, toils in his or her neighborhood out of a love of community, and demonstrates his or her hometown pride in Troy in very positive and real ways. The award is presented at TRIP's Annual HomeComing Dinner.

In 2005, the inaugural Troy Treasure award was presented to the Washington Park Association. 

In 2006, the Troy Treasure award was given to the Osgood Neighbors Neighborhood Association and the Friends of North Central/S. Lansingburgh Neighborhood Association.

In 2007, the Troy Treasure award was given to the Friends of Prospect Park.
