Travel Demand Management Homeowner’s Incentive
We are happy to introduce a new program: “Travel Demand Management Homeowner’s Incentive” in conjunction with CDTA to our new homeowners. This program offers bus passes FREE OF CHARGE for 2 years!
If you have participated in our Pre-Purchase Program and purchase a home in Rensselaer County(with or without downpayment assistance), you may be eligible for TWO YEARS of TWO FREE BUS PASSES from our friends at CDTA.
Here’s how:
1. Buy your first home within half a mile of a CDTA bus route with help from any of TRIP’s homeownership programs.
2. Fill out a simple enrollment form and provide verification of your home purchase to TRIP.
3. CDTA’s Travel Demand Management program will mail you a simple survey for you to complete and return.
4. You’ll receive two free bus passes in the mail every month for two years while you enjoy the benefits of public transit.
5. Upon program completion you’ll fill out a short program exit survey.
That’s it. No income restrictions. No cost to you. No hassles. Easy!
