TRIP's housing counselors can serve as a liaison between homeowners and their mortgage lenders to negotiate reasonable work-out solutions for both parties.

TRIP helps prevent foreclosures while enabling the homeowner to determine the best financial solution for their specific situation.

TRIP has joined with area agencies: Affordable Housing Partnership (AHP), Albany County Rural Housing Alliance (ACRHA), and Better Neighborhoods Inc. (BNI) to offer workshops on preventing foreclosure.

Classes will be offered throughout the Capital District and are required prior to one-on-one counseling. Please check our Calendar of Events for the next scheduled workshop.
