TRIP & RCHR’s Annual Homecoming Dinner
Please join us in honoring Pat and Kevin O’Bryan with the 2017 Community Citizenship Award. Kevin has spent a 40 year career in banking and now municipal finance preserving the best of our historic downtown, creating and sustaining affordable housing and fostering critical business growth. Pat, through her teaching career, her volunteering in the Troy schools, involvement in the PTA, service on The Troy School Board and most recently her stewardship of The O’Bryan Family Foundation has been a long time, passionate advocate for public education in our community. All this combined with their decades-long record of service and philanthropy to local not for profits, including TRIP, embody the spirit of this award.
TRIP & RCHR will also honor Andrea Daley with our 2017 Troy Treasure Award. Andrea moved to Troy’s Little Italy neighborhood ten years ago and has been very active since then, including coordinating National Night Out events, organizing house tours, holding fundraisers for fire victims, and working with several neighborhood groups. Additionally, she is a wiz at historical restoration and has created projects training people in graffiti-busting techniques, painting frescoes, and most currently, restoring religious statues. She also owns a local business, “DIY Restore It!,” which provides restoration services.
TRIP has bestowed a “Troy Treasure award” on a group or person dedicated to Troy since 2005. More information and a list of former award winners is on our website at http://www.triponline.org/community-building/troy-treasures-2/
